Zoom Room PolyCom Callout Disabled

Hi Folks -

 

I have a Polycom Trio 8800 and recently provisioned the phone to be a Zoom Room controller.  I assigned the phone a Zoom Phone license and phone number as well, however whenever I try to call out by pressing the "Phone" button on the Polycom, it tells me "callout disabled please contact admin"

 

Not sure if this is a Polycome issue or Zoom Room issue.

    Did you add the phone license after provisioning the phone for the Room or before?

    I do not think it Poly issue (may be related to that model), but we use Poly C60 trio and are able to place outbound calls. Have you double-checked the phone settings under "User & Rooms" to verify "block external calls" did not get turned on somehow?

    Have checked that setting, its not turned on.

     

    When you provisioned your phone, did you already have a SIP number on there?  Or did you assign a Zoom Room number to it after the fact?
