Zoom Room audio suppression not disabled

Hi,

Has anyone had issues disabling audio suppression in Zoom Room (ZR)?

I have a conference room using ZR and a TesiraForte X400 for audio processing

It is practically a copy of the design guide from Biamp and Zoom

https://www.biamp.com/solutions/applications/meeting-and-conference-room-av/zoom

As the DSP is performing the audio processing, we've disabled audio suppression in ZR as per the guide.

But when in a ZR call, the audio is cutting out and the far end cannot hear the ZR correctly.

It sounds as if the ZR is using a gate to suppress the audio.

To confirm the issue isn't with the Tesira or the PC (running ZR), we also installed the Zoom client on the same PC.

When we start a call using the Zoom client, there isn't any audio issues and the far end can hear the room clearly.

Thoughts?

I'm having the same issue using a Q-sys Core 8 Flex, another recommended piece of hardware.  I have yet to find answers or solutions but it's frustrating.

Any updates here? We're having ongoing audio issues with zoom rooms on Windows and biamp DSPs and zoom support has no idea.

@MartyC

After much back and forth, we found the issue was in the design of the Biamp program. The issue wasn't with Zoom Room.

Still unsure why it worked with the Zoom client though 🤔 🤔

All it did was lead us down the wrong path
