Unhide non-video participants by default

Hello!

We are using Zoom Rooms with Neat devices in our offices and we are missing one option in our setup.

We want to unhide non-video participants of meetings by default - is it somehow possible?

We know that in the meeting we can do it manually, but we did not find a way how to set up for every planned meeting.

Thank you for all answers,

D.

Hello @Dominik1,

”Show non-video participants” is a setting you can enable in the portal for your zoom room.

Edit the room and then find the setting under the meetings tab.

he specifically said. make it a default setting for all meetings.

this issue is very annoying for us as well, and I guess other companies as well

you can be in a meeting with 5 ppl, and you can only see 1 on-screen, not knowing they are participating.

the request is: have a setting to set "always show non-video participants"

This is a client side setting you can push to your users via .msi https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362163-Mass-deploying-with-preconfigured-settings-for-Windows

scroll down to HideNoVideoUsers

I can't push a client to this.  Is there a setting, as asked above, to AUTOMATICALLY show non-video participants?

My issue is that I have this checked, and it appears to be checked in the actual meeting, but when I go to the recording, all non-video participants are still hidden.
