saving contacts for Zoom Rooms??

First of all why do i have to create a new username for this if I am a Zoom account holder? doesnt make any sense, but i digress..

Does anyone know how to save a contact in a Zoom Room account for future zoom rooms set up? This would make it easier and more efficient when starting a zoom room, never mind avoiding future mistakes when typing in the email address. I have tried it myself in a Zoom Room as well as scoured support for something -anything- but it looks like all saved have to be on our account.

Anyone have any luck in saving contacts (email addresses) to be used for future Zoom Rooms?

Thank you in advance!

The unfortunate answer to your question: it's not currently possible.

Rooms all too frequently get the short end of the stick at Zoom ("an AI company", haven't you heard?), but adding external contacts that can actually be dialed to Zoom Workplace (desktop client) also happens to be an unnecessarily tricky task, especially if you have Chat disabled in your org. As you noted, you can easily add 'Favorites' to a Zoom Room that include users on your account, Zoom Rooms on your account, net-new external SIP/H.323 addresses (huh? buy why only those?), and net-new external phone participants (oh really?).
