Proximity sharing with android tablets?

Proximity sharing must be supported on the devices. It seems like there are different versions of the Galaxy Tab A8 (one with, one without a proximity sensor).  This is something the manufacturer can confirm.

So it looks like the only supported Android tablet I can find which will work is the SM-T350 (2015) version of the GTA8 which is 6 years old now.

@neve if you're looking for a panel that is android based and definitely support Direct Sharing, I'd look at solutions from partners like Neat.  Thanks!
