Digital Signage Freezing

I have noticed on multiple occasions one of our signage devices getting hung up when displaying content. The clock still works on the top banner, but I just see a black screen with the spinning wheel not spinning. The device still shows online in the web portal and rebooting seems to fix the issue. Any ideas?

I am currently running Zoom Rooms as a Digital Signage Only device on a Mele PGC02.

Hi, Seahopki.

Is that Mele PGC02 running on a Intel Gemini Lake N4000? and I will suppose it is connected to a single screen? I believe it is probably chocking as it cannot handle the load.

It does not meet the system requirements, you would need at least an i5 for this:

Single-Screen hardware requirements

Intel Core i5 4-core

8th-generation (T) or higher desktop CPU

8GB Memory, dual memory channel is recommended

It's currently using a Intel Celeron N5105 processor with a single screen.

We also have several identical units set up that are not exhibiting any issues.

Hi, Seahopki.

Digital Signage has a lower system requirement, and there is at least one Windows IoT Celeron device that we publicly recommend for Digital Signage, the Azulle Access4: https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0061459, so maybe Zoom Technical support can help you.

I would recommend opening a support ticket: https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/contact?id=contact_us
