Using Camera on Cisco 8865

i am not sure if you can use the camera.

zoom only supports the multiplatform version of cisco 8865.

Zoom phone certified devices include cisco 8865 multiplatform version.

Had the same idea for my Cisco 8865, but unfortunately, Zoom does not allow video calling over this device. However, you can use it for video intercom and that's about it.

Whoever told you that is incorrect unfortunately. The only video cameras that can natively be used on a Zoom meeting with a physical desk phone are certified Zoom Phone Appliances. Cisco does not have a certified Zoom Phone Appliance. If your interested in going this route, do look into the Poly and Yealink phones for their ZPA's. 

Yes, the Cisco 8865 has a built-in camera, but Zoom does not natively support video from Cisco IP phones, including the 8865, for Zoom Meetings. The camera is primarily designed for Cisco Webex and other SIP-based video calls.
