I have noticed that I do not receive push notifications on my cell phone when I receive a SMS text via Zoom.  Is there a way to set this up for any inbound SMS messages?

Thanks

Zoom Phone provides push notifications for various events on your mobile device, including incoming calls, meeting reminders, and notifications related to team chat and SMS. These notifications can be customized within the Zoom web portal and mobile app.

Enabling Push Notifications:
1. Verify Push Notifications are Enabled in Zoom:

    • Sign in to the Zoom web portal as the owner or admin.
    • Navigate to Account Management > Alerts & Notifications > Zoom Phone > Alerts.
    • Review and adjust the notification settings, including rules and notification types.

2. Check Device Settings (Android):

    • Open your device's Settings app.
    • Tap Notifications > App notifications.
    • Locate the Zoom app and ensure notifications are enabled.

3. Check Device Settings (iOS):

    • Go to Settings > Notifications.
    • Find the Zoom app and ensure "Allow Notifications" is enabled.

4. Review Zoom App Settings:

    • Open the Zoom mobile app and navigate to Settings.
    • Check Chat and Team Chat settings to customize notification preferences.

5. Ensure "Do Not Disturb" is Off:

    • Verify your Zoom presence status is not set to "Do Not Disturb," as this will suppress notifications.

Types of Push Notifications:

  • Incoming Calls: Notifications alert you to incoming calls, with options to answer, decline, or ignore.
  • Meeting Reminders: Receive notifications before scheduled meetings.
  • Team Chat: Notifications for new messages, mentions, and other team chat events.
  • SMS: Notifications for incoming text messages via Zoom Phone SMS.
  • Account Alerts: Push notifications for suspicious login attempts or other account-related events.
