Hi;

I need help,

whenever I attempt using Zoom on my android phone, it will display the following message:

"Your device appears to be rooted , this may result in private data loss, crashes, or other errors,

we do not recommend using zoom with your rooted device"

What is the meaning of the message? and what is the solution to it?

  Thank you.

Whether or not your phone is actually rooted and the message is accurate, here is some basic info on rooting:

If you aren't familiar with rooting, it's likely that the phone was purchased rooted or that the warning is erroneous and not accurate (we've absolutely seen this before across Zoom's product line).

The warning that you're receiving is simply that - a warning. You should still be able to use Zoom on a rooted Android device.
