Question

Repeating Do Not Disturb

Zoom Phone users at my organization have repeating meetings every week (e.g., 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., every Monday), and they would like to silence incoming Zoom Phone calls during those times.

We use MS Outlook as our organizational standard, and it looks like the MS Office/Zoom plug-in only indicates that the person is in a meeting based on Outlook Calendar.. but does not put the phone on Do Not Disturb.

Is there a way to automatically set repeating Do Not Disturb times?

Thanks!

A few things here. If your using the Zoom app and it's reading your calendar, there is a checkbox in the Zoom app for incoming calls to be hidden while in a Zoom meeting. Under settings, phone, and under incoming calls you'll see this checkbox. Now, if your using physical phones this may not work. Last I tried to enable DND sync which allows the client to sync DND to physical phones, I was told this only applies to Yealink phones and Poly would come later. As far as DND times, not that I've seen in Zoom. I was going to say maybe applying this via your business hours but that won't work because Zoom doesn't have the option of splitting multiple hours per day.

Thanks, Sparrow.

I tried scheduling recurring Zoom meetings from Outlook. They appear as events in Zoom, but unless I start the meeting, it does not switch to DND. It would be just as easy to change the status in the app rather than to have to start a meeting every time a recurring event begins.
