Phone is not working

Since you’ve activated Zoom Phone, verified your address, and received a number but cannot make or receive calls—and callers hear “number doesn’t exist”—let’s try these troubleshooting steps:

1. Double-check that your Zoom Phone number is assigned to your user profile in the Zoom web portal.
2. Make sure your Zoom Phone license is active and assigned to you.
3. Sign out of the Zoom app, then sign back in to refresh your phone settings.
4. Confirm that your outbound caller ID is set to your assigned number.
5. If you’re using the desktop or mobile app, ensure it’s updated to the latest version.

If you’ve checked all of the above and the issue persists, there may be a provisioning or activation delay, or a configuration issue with your number. In this case, I recommend reaching out to Zoom Support for further assistance, as they can review your account and number status in detail.
