Forward Auto receptionist assigned number to an external number

One of the departments that I support is moving off of the zoom phone system to the one that I administer for our company. Is there a way for me to forward the 4 the auto receptionist to an external DID?

I need to do this prior to porting the number out so they have no interruption.

Thank you.

Alternatively, you can edit the business hours by deselecting all days. That will cause the service to pause. Back in the AR, you will now see closed hours. Hit edit next to route to voicemail. Change the route to option from voicemail to phone number. You'll see the region set +1 and enter phone number. You'll also have to check the box for billing usage acknowledgement. That basically means, you'll be charged overage fees for any number leaving the AR on a per minute basis. That's always the case for AR's. Save it and now all calls hitting the AR will automatically route to your external number.

You should be able to add external contacts to perform that function.

You will find the external contacts management section under phone system management > company info > account settings > external contacts. Add the external contact, your routing option should be PSTN and you should now be able to point those AR's at the newly created external contact(s).
