Disable Zoom Workplace ringtone when connected to desk phone using call control

Is there a way to disable the Zoom Workplace app from audibly ringing when it is connected to a desk phone using call control? We've recently started using Zoom phone, and several users have said it's annoying hearing the Zoom ringtone as well as the desk phone ring tone.

Is there a way to do this, or any alternative solutions that could be suggested?

We use Yealink T44W handsets if that is useful to know at all.

You can set the ringtone to silent or you can disable the Zoom app from ringing entirely. In the Zoom workspace app, open settings, audio, and ringtones, you'll find ringtone settings for Zoom phone. Drop down the extension and at the bottom, you'll see silent. If you want to stop the Zoom app from both ringing and visual indicator? You can turn the app off by going into phone system management, users, user settings, edit call handling and turn off Zoom desktop apps.

I was hoping there'd be a way to do this automatically specifically when using call control. The reason I ask if that users will use desk phones when in the office, but when working from home they'd want to hear the ring from Zoom Workplace as they'll be using that instead for answering calls.

No, there is no method to do what you're asking. You can always request a feature enhancement in the community and see if you get backing from other members.
