Can't change settings - account not valid

I cannot change settings because I keep getting a message tell mew that I need to have a US Metered call plan.

 

This is my call plan: Zoom Phone US & Canada Metered Calling

I am logged in.

I am the sole owner/ user.

 

How do I fix this!!!??

you may need to assign your Zoom Phone US & Canada Metered Calling to your yourself, i.e. your extension.  goto zoom portal->admin->phone system management->users & rooms->select your name->assign->assign packages->assign your Zoom Phone US & Canada Metered Calling to yourself.

If you have billing access, see if you have pay as you go under Zoom Phone. Dashboard => Account Management => Billing. In the list, you should see Zoom Phone with a Pay as you go plan. If you do not? That might be your problem.

The issue is likely because the Zoom Phone US & Canada Metered Calling plan does not support the specific setting you're trying to change. Some Zoom Phone features require a different plan, like the US Unlimited Calling plan.

Here’s what you can do:

  1. Check if the plan is properly assigned
    Go to the Zoom Admin Portal, then to Phone System Management > Users & Rooms. Click on your user name and make sure the calling plan is assigned to your user.

  2. Review feature compatibility
    Some settings and features are only available with certain calling plans. Even if you have a metered plan, you might need an unlimited plan to access specific features like setting an emergency address or assigning a phone number.

  3. Make sure your account setup is complete
    Zoom sometimes restricts access to settings if key setup steps (like setting an emergency address) haven’t been completed.

  4. Contact Zoom Support
    If you're still stuck, it’s best to contact Zoom Support. Explain the issue, mention your plan, and include the error message you're seeing. They can confirm whether the plan supports the feature you’re trying to use.
