윈도우 줌 버전에서 비디오가 나오지 않는 것은 웹 캠이 모니터에 없는 경우인가요?

Hello, @User Legoland! Welcome to the Zoom Community. I just realized your post didn’t receive a reply, so I wanted to jump in and help.

To answer your question, no, the webcam does not need to be built into the monitor for video to work in the Zoom Windows app. An external webcam works just fine, as long as Windows detects it and Zoom can access it.

If your video isn’t appearing, there are a few things worth checking. First, if you’re using an external webcam, unplug and reconnect it, try a different USB port, and make sure any privacy shutter or switch is open or turned on. Then, go to Settings → Privacy & security → Camera in Windows and make sure Camera access, Let apps access your camera, and Let desktop apps access your camera are enabled.

Next, open Zoom → Profile picture → Settings → Video and make sure the correct camera is selected in the Camera dropdown. You should see a preview if everything is working. If not, close Teams, Skype, Webex, browser tabs, or any other apps that may be using the camera and check Zoom again.

Finally, restart your PC and make sure both Zoom and Windows are up to date. Hopefully, one of these steps gets your video working!
