Zoom freezes randomly during meetings on Windows 11 laptop

Hi everyone,

Lately I’ve been experiencing random freezing issues during Zoom meetings on my Windows 11 laptop. The video just stops and the app becomes unresponsive, although audio sometimes keeps playing in the background.

I’ve updated Zoom to the latest version and also made sure my system drivers are current. It usually happens about 10–15 minutes into a call, and I have to force quit and rejoin.

Is it related to system performance or something with Zoom and Windows 11?

    I’ve seen this problem the last few days on a client’s older Dell desktop running Windows 10 and today on a brand new out-of-the-box HP desktop running Windows 11 purchased for the same client. Nothing is clear about the source of the problem, nor about a solution. And why some computers have the problem and others do not also remains a mystery. But what we do need is a solution for people who depend on Zoom and Windows.
