zoom freezes

I open Zoom and am admitted to meeting. am on an apple mac book air. update regularly.pay  for non service

  1. I cannot make page bigger
  2. 2. cannot unmute when host asks me to
  3. 3. cannot leave meeting
  4. 4. cannot close zoom
  5. 5computer freezes and I have to shut down co mputer.
  6. this happens nearly every meeting now. 
  7. please help

    Hello, ​@ruth2! That sounds really frustrating, especially if it’s happening in almost every meeting. Since this keeps happening, I’d start by checking Zoom itself and making sure Zoom Workplace is up to date.

    Open Zoom Workplace, click your profile picture in the top-right, and select Check for Updates. If there’s an update available, install it and restart Zoom.

    If Zoom freezes again during a meeting, you don’t necessarily have to restart the whole computer. Try pressing:

    Option + Command + Esc

    Select Zoom Workplace, then click Force Quit. Once Zoom closes, open it again and rejoin your meeting.

    If it still happens after that, let us know which macOS version, Zoom Workplace version, and MacBook Air model you’re using. That should give us a better idea of what might be going on and what to try next.
