Zoom crashes immediately upon opening it after updating Mac to macos tahoe 26.0.1

April 18, 2026 - Tahoe 26.4.1 - After experiencing connection drops beginning with the first OS 26 update and ongoing, today Zoom repeatedly crashed at meeting login, finally reaching the point of not even trying to load before deactivating the Reload and OK buttons so the error report consumed half my desktop screen. Couldn’t access Zoom Workplace, so Zoom Chat led me through a thorough uninstall of everything Zoom in every Library. The reinstall didn’t complete, twice, using Chrome browser. Switched to Safari and everything went smoothly. Also took the advice of a Community Member and gave Zoom full disk access via Privacy & Security. Only time will tell if this attempt is at all stable. Now I’m going to look into a pattern of issues with Chrome.
