Zoom app freezing in windows 11

My computer freezes frequently during a meeting after I purchased a new computer which is on Windows 11.  Please help.

I have a top of the line PC and my zoom is crashing in meetings.  How do I get this resolved, I have reinstalled windows and tried everything?

I've been having the same issue for ages. I have a high spec custom built machine and Zoom constantly fails. I've followed the advice on this thread and many others and none of it worked. However - early days but I've found that the following has made a difference so far:

Go to settings > video > advanced

Then untick "optimise quality of the video I send with de-noise" and " optimise quality of the video I receive with super resolution".

So far this has worked so far as I open a meeting and can actually select the controls immediately without everything freezing. I can also share my screen without it dropping out but yet to test it with another participant. Keeping my fingers crossed it works because I use Zoom all the time to deliver online masterclasses and have client meetings and dropping out every time I share my screen is a huge issue. Even looked at switching to Google Meet, so if this doesn't work, I think I'll try that for a while.

I will try this and hope is works, I'm starting to want to give up and try another program. I have daily meetings and it makes me look very unprofessional to keep needing to restart my computer when I'm leading meetings and my screen/video freezes. I've tried disabling and reenabling video which has worked a couple of times, uninstalling and reinstalling Zoom - no change, many other fixes, only shutting down and restarting works - which is not acceptable to be able to be able to continue this way with the line of work I do. I hope they fix it soon.

We are using various Surface Laptops and notice the computer locks up sometimes when in a Zoom meeting.  The experience is almost like the CPU is pegged at 100% where the whole OS and other applications seems slow.  We have noticed that when this is happening, the CPU seems to throttle down to under 0.4Ghz .     Sometimes this lasts 1-2 minutes, and then the CPU throttles back up to over 2+Ghz, and then computer is responsive again.   We have a ticket open wtih Microsoft too.
