Virtual Camera not showing up under settings

Hi there!

Not sure if I'm in the right spot, but I'm trying to solve an issue. After installing the latest version of Zoom, the OBS virtual cam isn't listed under the camera-options in the Zoom-settings. Prior to the update, it was.

Info:

MacOS Ventura 13.4.1
Apple M1 chip

Zoom-version 5.15.6 (21146)

OBS-version 29.1.3

Troubleshooting done:
- Uninstalled Zoom, reinstalled Zoom

- Uninstalled OBS, reinstalled OBS

- Restarted computer after succesful install

- Start up OBS, start virtual camera
- Start up Zoom, go to settings, go to video, go to camera: virtual cam is not listed

- Closed Zoom, start up Teams, checked settings in Teams: virtual cam is listed

Does anyone know the solution? Much appreciated!

Hi Boxie, I am also experiencing this issue. We have a conference camera that connects to a laptop via USB but I have found that sometimes the camera does not appear in the list when starting the video during a meeting, even though the camera is switched on! This only happens sometimes but I don't think the issue is to do with the camera itself but more to do with Zoom as you have experienced a similar issue.

January 2025, same issue. works perfectly in both Teams and Discord, but nothing in Zoom. Also doesn't show as a camera Windows settings, but I guess that is normal.
