using the same zoom link for repeated meetings

We are about to start a 10-session training for new members to our organization. We want to create one link that will be used for each of the sessions. We see that that is possible. My question or concern is what happens when we record the sessions. Since the link will have the same titles associated with it, with each new meeting overwrite the recording from the last one. Or, are they identified and saved by dates? It is imperative that we have recordings for students who miss meetings to use for make up.

    Hi knownasjim,

     

    The recordings will be saved individually. So you will end up with 10 recordings, one per session.

      I have a somewhat similar situation. I have created a Zoom link that is used repeatedly . However, the reason for the link has ended, but old participants continue to use the link to meet. I need to terminate their use of my Zoom link. Can I disable the Zoom link and or the meeting ID?

      Each recording will be saved by the date. You can have them save to your computer or to the Cloud. If saving to your computer, they will save to a Zoom folder under your documents. It is not recommended to change the file location as it may mess up the audio.
