User not being able to use Video while in Zoom session...

Hi there!

I have a user that it is not being able to watch the video from her webcam (Logitech C920 Pro HD Webcam). The funny thing is that Google Meet works fine with the same webcam. Even, the Microsoft Camara app (MS Windows 11 Pro version) works just fine.

As a workaround, I´ve uninstall the Zoom Workplace program and reinstall it and still can not work the camera (only shows a green screen, while the video it is ON). Even, I connect another web cam (Logitech C525 Portable HD Webcam) and neither of them work in “Zoom Workplace” program (version 7.xx).

I will appreciate any help given so I can make it work. Should I look at any particular version of Zoom Workplace to be installed.

Thanks for your attention!

    Hi @HoracioSG,

Glad to have you here! If your Logitech C920 or C525 webcams show a green screen in Zoom Workplace on Windows 11 (but work fine in other apps), try these steps:

    1. Remove Zoom from any webcam access blocklist and check if any security applications are interfering with video display.

    Thanks Aluyun!

Appreciated all your comments! I will try as soon as I can (it is not my computer; it is someone else’s)

    hi @HoracioSG

If the camera is still ‘claimed’ buy another app, it will not be available to Zoom, so check it has not been used in another app, like Teams and that app is still running.  Close any other app and then Zoom will be able to use it

    Hello John!

Thanks for your comment. I am pretty sure that no other application it is using the camera while I am trying to use it in Zoom. Though, I will double-check in the Windows Administrator to make sure that applications like TEAMS are not running in the background. Thanks for the tip!

    Have a great day!

Make sure “Hide self view”is turned off in Zoom settings.
