There are a few options for using Zoom on ChromeOS, but only some of them can have an image uploaded as a virtual background.
- The Zoom ChromeOS app is very limited and will be phased out by June 2022 (Google's decision, not Zoom's). This version cannot use any sort of virtual background.
- The Chrome PWA runs Zoom meetings in the web browser and has a feature similar to virtual background, named Virtual Mask. This article should help: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/4403638230925-Using-Zoom-for-Chrome-PWA
- You may also be able to install the Android version of the Zoom app on your Chromebook, and then perhaps be able to use the virtual background feature in the Android app (not guaranteed though, as I haven't tested this myself). This article from Google can walk you through this process: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/7021273?hl=en
Hope that helps and please make sure to mark the solution as accepted if this information is what you needed.
