Unable to update pronouns

Hi. My preferred pronouns have changed and I am unable to edit them. When I look at my profile in the app I can see my pronouns listed but when I click to change them nothing happens. I am able to edit my screen name so the app is otherwise working. I have checked and I'm definitely on the latest version of the software. I can unshare them, but I don't *want* to unshare them, I want them to be there but correct 😞 

 

On android phone but I've also tried on my laptop. No error messages, just, nothing happens.

Here’s a few quick things you can try right away:

  • Clear app cache (Android): Go to Settings > Apps > Zoom > Storage > Clear Cache.
  • Sign out and back in: Sometimes a simple refresh of your account helps.
  • Use the web version: Try logging in at https://zoom.us/profile 
    to update your pronouns directly.
  • Switch networks: Testing on another internet connection can sometimes fix unexpected issues.

If these steps don’t work, it looks like this may be a bug with the pronoun update feature, since other profile settings are working fine. In that case, the best next step is to report the issue to Zoom’s technical support team. To make it easier for them, please share:

  • Your Zoom account details
  • Your device info (Android version, laptop OS)
  • A screenshot of what happens when you try to update pronouns

If your pronouns are not visible after viewing your profile at https://zoom.us/profile and clicking the Edit link next to your profile, check with your organization's Zoom Admin to ask if they have enabled the Allow users to enter and share pronouns feature in Account Management > Account Settings > General tab in the Profile and Contacts section.
