Unable to install Zoom without specific MSI

Hello,

I’ve been battling through uninstalling/updating Zoom on a handful of computers recently. I’ve encountered an issue where I’m unable to uninstall it because “The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable”. I’m trying to uninstall these silently and I believe if I could get the MSI for version 6.3.52884 I would be able to.

Does anyone have the installer.msi for 6.3.52884?

Thanks,

Paul

You’re on the right track, but Zoom doesn’t publicly provide older MSI versions like 6.3.52884.

That error usually happens because Windows Installer can’t find the original MSI used during install.

    Quick fixes:

    • Use Zoom’s CleanZoom tool (best option)
    • Install the latest MSI over it (can repair/remove)
    • Or uninstall via GUID: msiexec /x {PRODUCT-CODE} /qn

If you really need that exact MSI, try pulling it from another machine’s C:\Windows\Installer or contact Zoom Video Communications support.

I’ve unfortunately tried all of those already with no success. They all spit out that exact same error message regardless.

I’ve also been trying to look through other machines and am not able to find the MSI on any of them as well.
