If transcript is selected and you can see the words throughout the entire meeting, why doesn't nothing generate after the meeting ends showing the full transcript automatically?  It only exists if you click the save button and that seems really dumb.  And, the transcripts are not saved in the zoom account like the recordings are, I can only find them in my OneDrive (which I never use) buried in a random file.

Hi there, 

If you have closed caption enabled and participants can see it while the meeting was live, it's not going to be saved automatically unless you are recording to Cloud and enabled "Save closed caption as a VTT file" from your Advanced cloud recording settings. @jnicodemus There is another thread that dates back to May 2023. As I have posted there, I get updates when new comments are added and likes are given for previous posts. I can tell you that this issue comes up at least once a week on that thread. No satisfactory answer has yet been given as to why this feature cannot be enabled. For me, transcripts are an accommodation need and having to remember to manually save before the host (even if it is me) ends the meeting is a major issue. Recording every meeting is not an option as it is a much harder sell to clients and colleagues. Outside of webinars, most people do not want their meetings recorded. Take a look:
