The New Workspace Zoom Update

Hello, 

 

Can someone direct me to the new areas where older functions can be located in the new workspace version of Zoom Meetings? I want to share my screen and give remote access to the Zoom participants. I used to be able to do that under the Share function. Now I can't find that option.

I’m sorry for the late response. In the newer Zoom Workplace meeting controls, the Remote control option is no longer always visible directly under the main Share button, which can definitely be a little confusing at first.

 

Here’s how to find it during a meeting:

  1. Start sharing your screen
  • Click Share
  • Select the window or screen you want to share, then click Share
  1. Open the floating share toolbar
  • While sharing, a floating toolbar will appear at the top of your screen
  • Click More (the three dots)
  1. Select Remote control
  • From there, you can choose to request control or give control, depending on what you need.
