Starting Meetings Without the Host

Hello
 
We are a Home Owners Association with approx 400 homes and several very active committees.
 
We are trying to schedule committee meetings that can start without the host having to be there.
 
While we want Board/Community meetings to be somewhat restricted, we would like Committee meetings to be more open.  No need for waiting room  etc.
 
We have one license and wonder if we can schedule monthly meetings for about 10 committees without our host/admin person having to start all the meetings.
 
We thought adding a user who would schedule Committee meetings would help but it seems like license restrictions are getting in the way.
 
Any and all suggestions would be appreciated

    I recommend you update these settings to allow a Committee Meeting to start without the HOST having to officially start it off.

     

     

     

    TURN OFF WAITING ROOM

     

    On the Zoom main page,
    Select Settings
    Select Meeting
    Select Security
    Turn off Waiting Room (slide to left)

     

     

    TURN ON ALLOW PARTICIPANTS TO JOIN BEFORE HOST

     

    Select Schedule Meeting

    Turn on ALLOW PARTICIPANTS TO JOIN BEFORE HOST Slide to right
    Click on box allowing participants to join 10 minutes before start time

     

    TURN ON SCREEN SHARING FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS

     

    Select In Meeting (basic)

    In the Screen sharing area,
    click on One person can share at a time
    click on all participants can share


    These changes should work based on the limited testing I did with my Zoom account.
