Sound echoes on my meeting even if using a microphone, or internal microphone on my Mac book.  Is there a setting to fix that?

Hello @Michelle Fish Toronto,

Welcome to the Zoom Community! We’re glad to have you here.

To fix sound echo in your Zoom meetings on a MacBook, try these steps:

  1. Enable Echo Cancellation: In Zoom’s audio settings, make sure echo cancellation is turned on. This helps prevent echoes between your microphone and speakers.
  2. Use Headphones: Using headphones can further reduce or eliminate echo, since the sound won’t loop back into your microphone.

These steps should help improve your audio quality during meetings.
