Somehow reset the name that shows up when I join a meeting without logging in

When I join a zoom meeting where I don't have to log in to my zoom, I somehow reset my screen name to a random series of numbers. I've looked everywhere in my account, and I can't find where this random number was entered (and therefore, I can't figure out how to change it). Does this ring a bell for anyone, and can someone point me to where I should look to fix it?

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @Eahurt.

    1. Log into the Zoom Web Portal and visit your Profile page: https://www.zoom.us/profile
    2. Click the Edit link to the far right of your name.
    3. Edit the Display Name field.
    4. Click Save at the bottom.

Clear instructions, thank you, however when trying to change my display name I get an error message "Something went wrong. Please refresh this page." I've tried different browsers, different PCs, my colleague has the same issue, my wife has tried her account, different network entirely, all getting the same error message. Is there a problem with your website, or have I missed an update somewhere?
