To use simultaneous translation in Zoom, should only the organizer or all conference participants have a business plan?

You would need to confirm with our Sales team regarding the minimum length for a Business account.
But, you don't need to have a Business account! As the prerequisites state, you need a "Business, Education, or Enterprise account; or Pro account + Webinar add-on plan", so that means you can just go with a Pro account and Webinar add-on (even if you don't use the webinar feature). That will be much cheaper if that is the only feature you need, but the Business plan comes with lots of other extra upgrades, such as a Vanity URL, extra branding customization, and others.

Hi @imerber .

As with most features, it only requires the user scheduling the meeting to meet the prerequisites for activating the feature. The other participants will need to be on the appropriate version of the Zoom app to use it as well, but the host needs to meet all the requirements to start using it.

Thank you! As I understand, in order to use the business plan, I have to pay for the whole year. Shorter times are not supported.
