screen sharing

I am using the zoom mobile app on a Galaxy S22.  When I attempt to share a PowerPoint Point presentation using the share screen single app option but it will open for a second then the app no longer shows and the option to share reappears.

    Hey @Flnative1

This symptom suggests a compatibility or stability conflict between the Zoom app, Android (One UI), and the selected presentation app.

    Recommended Troubleshooting Steps

    Step Action Details
1 Update Zoom App Ensure your app is the latest version via Google Play. Newer versions may include fixes for screen share bugs.
2 Reinstall Zoom Uninstall completely, then reinstall to clear any corrupted data.
3 Test Full-Screen vs. Single-App Share Instead of single-app, choose full screen share (“Screen”) to isolate the issue—if full-screen works, the problem lies with single-app mode.
4 Check for Interfering Apps Temporarily disable or uninstall recently added apps (e.g. Signal) that might conflict with Android's sharing core functions.
5 Switch Android / One UI Updates If you're on One UI 6.x, test on another Galaxy with a newer version (e.g. One UI 7 or 6.1) to see if the behavior changes.
6 Use Alternative Presentation Methods As fallback, upload the PPT directly into Zoom’s “Document Share” feature via chat—docs can be shared even when screen share fails.
