Schedule on behalf - cannot modify after scheduling

Once I schedule a meeting on someone's behalf, I cannot change the meeting.  I cannot see it in my meetings list. The meeting appears in their meetings list (with them as Host) but I cannot see it anywhere.  I would like to be able to make changes to the meeting.

We are not sharing calendars (O365, etc) because the privilege seems to grant FULL access to the others' calendar.  Maybe there is a way to share only Zoom Meetings schedules with others?

But I thought I should still be able to see those meetings in the Zoom web page.  I'm looking under "Personal > Meetings".  Maybe I should be looking in another place?
My Zoom App is Windows 6.0.11.

Not sure what the point of being delegated to is if you can’t actually make any changes.

 

Disappointed that your post was a year ago and Zoom hasn’t bothered to come back to you. Also I tried to ask their “Zoom Assistant” for help, what it brought up was irrelevant, it kept asking if I was a “Licenced user”… Like, yes, it’s a company account and yes it is being paid for. So is the account of my boss who is also on a company account and who is also paying for their licence. 

My only options are to make new events but while there is a setting for “ignore your calendar” there isn’t one for “don’t write over existing Zoom sessions”.

The language used on zoom around this space is entirely confusing as to the point of being meaningless.

EG:

At what point do you go from Delegated to Delegator? Because once I’ve been “delegated” to book and manage meetings by my colleagues or boss, then I would become the “delegator” to them. 

OR

“Select notification type”
Email Confirmation or Calendar Invitation… what? Wouldn’t both come through an email? Is there meaningful difference?

Hello,

 

The Zoom way of doing this is to use the Zoom feature called Scheduling privilege.

 

“Scheduling privilege is designed for a user to:

  • Assign or delegate a user or multiple users in your account to schedule meetings on your behalf.
  • Schedule meetings on behalf of a user (or multiple users) that has assigned you scheduling privilege. If both users have a webinar license, they can also schedule webinars for you.
  • Access cloud recordings and meeting reports for those you are a delegate for.
  • Act as an alternative host for any meetings you have scheduling privilege for.

You and the assigned scheduler must both be Licensed or On-Prem.

It is even possible to use scheduling privilege between linked master/sub accounts

Anything to do with O365 calendar permissions is up to your O365 admin team.

Hi Frank,

 

Thank you for coming back to us.

So with existing Scheduled calendar events, after the next week:

  • we want the times to change the available schedule times from 30 minute sessions to 45 minute sessions, 
  • To increase the available slots,
  • We don’t want to cancel or interfere with existing bookings

Questions:

  • How can we recreate the same past booking formate (I can’t copy, duplicate or view the existing set up)
  • Achieve those goals for new bookings in a way that won’t allow New bookings to over right existing Zoom bookings, but while still over righting my calendar bookings?

 

Also- to my point on language use: “master and sub accounts” naming is profoundly disappointing language with multiple unfortunate implications. Further: no one sane would consider searching those terms on their workplace computers for fear of being fired.
