Hello

I have a recurring meeting series with a number of meeting dates that I have deleted successfully. However, I am no longer able to do so. I receive the error code 403.

Currently using MS Edge browser.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hello, @ODI Team! Welcome to the Zoom community, and thank you for reaching out!

A 403 Forbidden error in Microsoft Edge typically means that the Zoom web portal received your request but is preventing access. This can sometimes be caused by browser cache or cookie issues, or an expired session.

Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

    1. Refresh and verify access to the Zoom web portal

    • Press Ctrl + F5 to perform a full page refresh.
    • Try accessing the Zoom web portal using another browser, such as Chrome or Firefox, to determine whether the issue is specific to Microsoft Edge.

    2. Clear Microsoft Edge cache and cookies

    • Open Microsoft Edge.
    • Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete.
    • Select:
      • Cookies and other site data
      • Cached images and files
    • Click Clear now.
    • Reopen Microsoft Edge and try accessing the meeting settings again.

    3. Sign out and sign back in to Zoom

    • Sign out of your Zoom account from the Zoom web portal.
    • Sign back in and try editing the recurring meeting series to delete the meeting dates again.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi Don.z

    Appreciate the response.

What seems to have worked is time. I tried after 24hrs and the issue has resolved itself.

Hoping that others in the community find this solution useful.

    Hi Don.z,

I’m hoping you might be able to help, as I’m a bit stressed about what has happened.

As mentioned in my previous post, I was eventually able to delete the meeting dates I didn’t need, and everything appeared to be working as expected.

To provide some additional context, we have an existing recurring meeting series that takes place on the second Monday of each month from 10:00 to 12:00. The aim was to add the 2027 meeting dates while keeping the same meeting ID and series.

However, instead of only adding Mondays, we needed meetings available on various weekdays. After trying several workarounds, the only solution I could find was to temporarily configure the series to recur every weekday (Monday to Friday) from 10:00 to 12:00, create all the occurrences, and then manually delete the dates that were not required. Although this was time-consuming, it appeared to work successfully.

The issue is that when I checked the meeting series recently, all of the 2027 occurrences had disappeared, leaving only the remaining 2026 dates.

Under Edit Series, the recurrence details show:

Every week on Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, until Dec 18, 2026, 110 occurrence(s) (110 occurrence(s) max)

When I click into the meeting itself, it shows:

Every week on Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, until Dec 7, 2026, 9 occurrence(s)

This makes me wonder whether I have unintentionally hit a limit on the number of recurring occurrences, and whether Zoom has automatically removed all dates beyond a certain point.

Has anyone come across this behaviour before, or is there a way to restore the missing 2027 occurrences? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks for your help.

Thanks for sharing the additional details. The fact that the 2027 dates disappeared while the series itself remained active is definitely useful context.

Based on the recurrence information you’re seeing, it does appear that the series may have reached a recurring-occurrence limit. The two different occurrence counts shown in the series and individual meeting views also suggest that the occurrences may not be behaving as expected after the series was modified and the unwanted dates were deleted.

Since you were able to create the 2027 dates successfully and then saw them disappear later, I would not recommend recreating or deleting additional occurrences for now. Doing so could make it harder to determine what happened to the original series.

If you’re still experiencing the issue, please submit a support ticket to our Technical Support team and include the meeting ID, screenshots of both recurrence settings, and the approximate date when the 2027 occurrences disappeared. The support team should be able to check the meeting configuration and occurrence history from the backend.
