Remove persistent "Sign In" card/button in the meeting window (windows desktop app) despite signing in from browser to start meeting

Hi,

I am looking for a way to remove the persistent "Sign In" card/button in the meeting window (windows desktop app)

We sign in to start the meeting in the browser, we are host of the meeting, but the desktop app keeps displaying ‘sign in’ on the top right.

This ‘feature’ was added - and it sucks.

We have concurrent meeting plus, so we can’t have zoom desktop signed into as many accounts as meetings we run simultaneously.

    Hi Andrew,

The "Sign In" card/button in the top-right of the meeting window appears because browser authentication and desktop app authentication are completely separate sessions.  Even if you launched or joined the meeting via browser, the Zoom Workplace desktop app itself is not signed in — and it surfaces that prompt as a persistent UI element.

    Recommendation

    1. Sign the desktop app into your primary account — this may suppress the card for meetings hosted under that account, even if it won't help for all concurrent sessions.

    2. Check if it's a UI bug — if the desktop app is signed in (your profile picture/name appears in the top-right) and the "Sign In" card still shows, that is not expected behavior and is likely a UI bug, not a configurable setting.

    3. Update Zoom Workplace to the latest version — some browser-redirect authentication issues and stale UI elements are resolved in newer builds.

    4. Sign out → quit completely → relaunch → sign back in — a full restart of the desktop app can clear stuck UI states.

    5. If nothing works, please submit a Support Ticket so our technical team can look into the issue.
