Recordings not working properly

I am a daily pro user of zoom and have hosted and recorded thousands of meetings in the past 5 years. So when I say this is unprecedented, I mean it. Twice in the past week, I have started a recording, checked it was on, reminded the users to click on the confirmation, only to end up with no recording at the end of the session. I know I'm not doing something wrong. I didn't suddenly forget how to walk through my very well rehearsed setup.  So what else is going on? Why the difficulty recording now? Is there a setting I need to fix?

There are a few possible reasons why your Zoom recordings might not appear after your meetings, even if you started the recording and saw the confirmation:

  1. Cloud recordings can take up to 24 hours to process, and sometimes longer during periods of high demand. If your recording is still processing after 48 hours, further troubleshooting may be needed.
  2. Make sure the meeting session is fully ended in the Zoom app. If the session remains open or is not properly ended, it can delay the processing of the recording.
  3. Always check your cloud recordings by signing in to the Zoom web portal.
