Recording shows the speaker on the side with black stripe on screen sharing

Is this a Cloud Recording or a Local Recording|?

I'm guessing that it is a Local Recording, and your standard layout overlays the upper right corner of the shared screen with the video of the presenter.  Please check the highlighted item in your Zoom Desktop App's Settings window on the Recording:

Checking this places the video beside the shared screen, as you've shown.  Unchecking places the video over the right corner of the shared screen.

I am having the exact same problem.  When I record my meeting, I see my PIP overlayed in front of the shared slide.  But then when I watch the downloaded .mp4 recording from the cloud, somehow mysteriously the PIP is no longer overlayed in front of the shared slide but rather in the upper right hand corner, and it has a solid black bar underneath it, all along the right-hand side of the screen in the recording.  How can we obtain a recording so that the PIP is floating over in front of the slide (as it is in the live meeting)?  Please help.  Thank you!

Hi, ​@Ray_Harwood , Thank you.  For some reason, at the link below on the Zoom Support knowledge base, it gives directions to get rid of that black bar in the .mp4 recording, but only for Computer Recording Video Layouts ( see “Share with participants video on top of shared content:... “).  But when it offers guidance on Cloud Recording Layouts ( see Shared content with active speaker:...”) it only gives the option which has the solid black bar underneath the speaker’s video thumbnail, all the way down the right side of the screen.  Is there any way that you know of that we can do a cloud recording, and also get rid of that black bar, so that the PIP does indeed float over in front of the shared slide?  Thank you in advance for your help!
