Recording issue

Without any known changes in my computer settings i am unable to control whether the meeting is recorded onto cloud or computer. IT happens when i join someone else's Meeting room which i do frequently.  He makes me co host so i can record onto my own computer as opposed to his icloud.   When i am made co host and i press record, it automatically starts recording without any function to choose where to i. e cloud or local.

Other people using this person's meeting room do not have this problem.  And i did have control on where to record until recently. So i suspect its a setting issue on my mac but i am not sure where even to look on my mac. 

Any advice much appreciated.
