Quality of audio recording is poor

Hi, new to this group, hope someone can help. I record a weekly meditation via Zoom (latest version), and usually incorporate music as part of that. Having some problems though - the audience can hear me OK, but a) when i played from the music from my laptop, no sound went to the audience, and b) when I played it from my phone, the music was very muffled.

I have made sure that 'original sound for musicians' is enabled, and I've also gone back to 'noise removal (default)' and selected 'low'.

That last option worked ok on my old HP surface pro device . Neither of these options is giving me good sound quality on my new device.
