Provide a visitor 1 time access to a recurring meeting, without giving them the recurring link

The answer would be that it depends on the current recurring meeting settings and setup. For example, if you have a recurring meeting without registration and it is for no fixed time which goes on indefinitely, as soon as you share that link anyone who has it will always be able to join that recurring meeting if you do not change any of the settings. 

I'm trying to think of a scenario with the current product that would allow you to do this but I cannot think of one. If it's the same recurring meeting and it is not modified or edited in any way, then as soon as a person (guest or otherwise) would have access to the link and if nothing is ever changed, the user would have access until something is modified on that meeting.

I have this question too. We have a class set up that runs for 4 months and I wanted someone to be able to 'drop in' to 1 week but not now be able to access the whole series. This would be a handy feature. I was thinking of a workaround of creating a pretty link with their name on it that redirects to the zoom link and then cancelling the pretty link or only giving it 1 time use when I set it up. Hope that helps for you until Zoom has this as an option. 

Also have a need for this. For a guest to attend one meeting in a recurring series, and not have access to the entire series of meetings. 

Yes, invite the guest only to that specific meeting occurrence rather than sharing the recurring meeting link. If the platform allows editing a single occurrence, the guest will only receive access to that meeting. Otherwise, create a separate one-time meeting for the guest.

Yes, this should be possible without sharing the recurring meeting link itself. A practical approach would be to create a separate one-time Zoom meeting for the guest and use that meeting for the specific committee session.

If the guest needs to join the actual recurring meeting, you could also enable the Waiting Room and have the host admit them manually. This gives you more control over who enters, although the recurring meeting details may still be visible to participants depending on the meeting settings.

For a strict one-time invitation, a separate meeting is probably the cleanest option because the guest won’t receive ongoing access to the recurring meeting.
