How do I make my profile photo fit my full screen when I have my camera off in a zoom meeting?

You don't. When initially uploading our profile photo to our Zoom account it forces us to crop it square. This is in part because it is used in several areas that are circular.

My photo does not appear when I have my camera off. Only my name.  How do I get it to appear?

    Hi @Marcia Hale,

Thank you for joining the community! To have your photo show when your camera is off, you need to set a Zoom profile picture (and make sure Zoom is allowed to display it).

    1. Add/update your profile picture (recommended)
    • Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
    • Go to Profile.
    • Under your profile picture, choose Change (or Edit) and upload your photo.
    • Save.
    1. Refresh Zoom so it picks up the change
    • Sign out of the Zoom app (desktop/mobile), then sign back in.
    • Start/join a meeting again and turn your camera off to check.
    1. If you sign in with Google/SSO
    • If you use “Sign in with Google,” make sure your Google account has a profile picture, then sign out/in to Zoom again.
