problem with enter zoom account and mail

Hello 

 

I tried to join a meeting with zoom on linux. I am logged into my account alright. But I still get asked to set my name and email. I enter THE EXACT SAME address with which I am logged on and get an error. Why is that?

      You do not need to sign-in to JOIN a meeting.hosted by someone else.

      Also for privacy reasons please remember to not include personal info in screen shots,

      It also appears that you are trying to switch accounts to the same account you are already logged into.

      That is not how that works in my situation. I am asked to login when I open the zoom link. Immediately. When I cancel I get prompted if I want to leave the meeting. And then, after logging in, I need to additionally prove a username and email as you can see on the screenshots.

      Your trying to switch accounts is asking for the username and password for the other account. Your entering of the same account is what is giving the error.
