    Hello,

Your approach to this is a little confusing.  Why didn't you just get two Zoom licences and buy the 500 participant large meeting add on?

In your scenario, the only approach I can think of is to use breakout rooms.

Perhaps you could preassign the participants?

I hope I understand your situation correctly. You need to host two independent meetings at the same time, is that correct?

With a Business, Education or Enterprise license, it is possible to host two independent meetings simultaneously. I'm sorry, but Pro licenses, even with a Large Meeting add-on, do not support this capability.

Of course, this does not mean that you can have two meetings with 1,000 participants each. The total number of participants across both meetings must be 1,000 or fewer, including yourself counted twice, since you will be the host of both meetings.

It is important to note that you must start and manage the meetings from two separate devices, such as a PC and your mobile phone, for example.

If you have a Zoom Large Meeting 1000 participants add-on, it generally applies per meeting, not as a pool that can be split across multiple simultaneous meetings.

To host two meetings at the same time:

    1. You need two licensed Zoom host accounts.
    2. Each host account must have the appropriate Large Meeting add-on if both meetings need large capacity.
    3. A single host account cannot normally host two meetings simultaneously.

    Example:

    • Meeting A: 500 participants
    • Meeting B: 500 participants

You cannot usually split one 1000-participant license between the two meetings if they are running at the same time under one host account. Instead, you would need either:

    • A second licensed host account, or
    • An additional Large Meeting license assigned to another host.

I can give more specific guidance if you tell me:

    • Your Zoom plan (Pro, Business, Enterprise, etc.)
    • Whether the 1000-participant add-on is assigned to one host or multiple hosts
    • How many participants you expect in each meeting.
