Yes, you can keep your script in a separate Word document while showing only your PowerPoint presentation to participants. The setup will depend on whether you’re using one or two monitors.

If you have two monitors:

Display your PowerPoint slideshow on one monitor and keep your Word script on the other. In Zoom, share only the monitor with your PowerPoint presentation. Your script will remain private.

If you have one monitor:

You can run your PowerPoint slideshow in a window instead of full screen:

1. Open the PowerPoint file you want to present.
2. Go to Slide Show and select Set Up Slide Show.
3. Under 'Show type', select 'Browsed by an individual (window)', then click OK.
4. Return to the Slide Show tab and select Play from Start or Play from Current Slide. Your slideshow will open in a window.
5. Start or join your Zoom meeting.
6. Click 'Share Screen' in the meeting controls.
7. Select the PowerPoint window and click Share.

Be sure to select the PowerPoint window rather than your entire screen. This lets you access your Word script and other meeting features without showing them to participants.
