Question

Portrait Filter

When the new upgrades got loaded I choose to have a "portrait" type of filter added to my camera view.  It's like the blurred background but not as intense.  I'd like to turn that off but I don't know where to do it.  Any suggestions?

Same issue over here. There is a soft background blur, more like a camera out of focus. Cannot find the way to turn it off.

Totally annoying.  I have spent over an hour trying to figure out how to get risk of this awful feature

Same issue here. Does anyone at Zoom monitor this community so we can get answers?

I added the Portrait filter back in Dec 2024 as it was pushed in a notification to me during a meeting. I didn't turn it off before the holidays and now the filter is still on, but the "Portrait filter" selection is NOT selected in my settings....so I have no way of turning this off now. What gives?

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @mtoth2! We're sorry for the inconvenience. If you are looking for the portrait filter, it has been changed to Portrait lighting in the latest versions of Zoom. It can be found on the Background and Effects tab in your Zoom Workplace App settings.

Please let us know if you need further assistance.

That's not the problem. Turning portrait lighting on or off does not affect the portrait blurring.

Thanks for responding. The issue is that I currently can see in my video that the Portrait Lighting is ON but when I got into settings to turn it off, the box is not selected....so I can't turn it off. It's permanently on now, with no way to turn off.

Same issue here. Any resolution available from the Zoom team?
