Hello. I’m an independent English tutor in South Africa using a free Zoom Basic account. I teach learners in Saudi Arabia and Iraq, including children aged five.

Parents receive the lesson link and manage joining on their device. The children do not create their own Zoom accounts. I obtain guardian permission, and recordings are currently off.

Does this parent-managed arrangement comply with Zoom’s rules for children under 16 on my account? Please explain how section 11.2 applies. If a different account or education arrangement is required, can an independent tutor qualify?

Please provide written confirmation or a link to the applicable policy.
