Sure, one very clever person found a vulnerability in the code which would allow them to get access to your machine. This theoretical hole could have been there for quite a while and was urgently fixed bu zoom.

There are many “white hat” hackers who look to break software and then let the owners know becuase it gives them practice and also helps them improve their status in the community. So, a big thank you to them for all they do.

Nobody is known for taking advatnage of this, but i do recommend you update before thehy try.
It has been demonstrated to me many times that most hacks happen to poeple who do not update when problems have been found and month later somebody builds a hack to take advantage of the problem, because so many people fail to keep software up to date.
