Outlook crashes when deleting/modifying zoom meetings

We have some Administrative professionals that maintain email/calendars for various executives.  and in the last few weeks, they have been noticing odd outlook calendar issues with zoom meetings

- If they cancel a zoom meeting from one of the executives calendar, the Admins outlook crashes, and when they reopen outlook , they get a message indicating that 'outlook has disabled the zoom plugin.

- We've verified they are on the current zoom outlook plugin

- So far this is happening to about 5 of our Admin. professionals.   any thoughts or suggestions?

Is this issue supposed to now be resolved, please?

Our EAs our having the same issue when trying to cancel meetings and Outlook crashing.

I have (today) downloaded the latest version of Zoom Outlook plugin (6.1.5.1062) but it's still crashing Outlook when cancelling reoccurring meetings.

Thank you

It was supposed to be with the last update.  I am still having occasional issues with recurring meetings especially those that may have had changes to individual meetings.  So far my solution is when this occurs to create new/replacement recurring meetings for the time being.  Also not sure if it has to do with how many recurring meetings are set, I have tried to limit to 25 or 35 depending on my needs then deal with the crash if and when it happens.  I can tell you it seems to be happening less but is still happening.

Happens all the time. what I learned works is to cancel the zoom meeting (click the cancel meeting button) which removes it from the Outlook meeting, then recreate the Zoom meeting. Then when you send an update it does not crash.

This is not ideal for reoccurring meetings, but it is a solution. For me this usually is an issue with individual meetings so if everyone already accepted, I change the meeting to do not request responses, so the individuals do not need to click accept to update.
