Not able to join Meeting Breakout Room when using Android

Around mid-2024, I became unable to join zoom meeting breakout rooms when using my Android phone.  In September 2024 I purchased a new Android phone (Android Version 14), and I continue to get a pinwheel as soon as I tap join for a breakout room.  I have waited 5 minutes with the pinwheel and never got in.  I have seen the pinwheel and immediately left the meeting, rejoined the meeting to get another chance to join a breakout room, but the pinwheel appears again.

Anyone else have this problem, and how did you fix?
