I have tried different ways like making host each other and also restarting zoom, then

also I have tried using zoom app and zoom web login both way but it didnt work. Not able to choose any file from "My Computer" option.

Did you ever find the answer to this?  I have the same problem.

Hello,

if you mean the ability to upload a file to chat from your computer this needs to be enabled at the account level, and by the host.

To allow file uploads in Zoom meeting chat, enable the "Send files via meeting chat" setting in the Zoom web portal under Account Management > Account Settings > Meeting. Once enabled, click the "File" icon in the chat window to share local files.

How to Enable File Transfer in Zoom:

  • Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin or user.
  • Navigate to Account Settings or Settings and click the Meeting tab.
  • Under the In Meeting (Basic) section, toggle on Send files via meeting chat.
  • (Optional) Restrict file types or set maximum file sizes.
  • Permissions: If you cannot send files, the feature may be disabled by the host or administrator.
  • Mobile: You can also share files in the Zoom mobile app by tapping the + icon in the chat.
  • Security: Administrators can lock this setting to prevent changes.
